Meet Caitlin Stanton, a 17 year-old New Yorker who describes herself as “Swagulous.” You might be wondering what that even means and you’ll find out at the end of this post. When Caitlin was younger, she wanted to be a princess astronaut who had a castle made out of stars. After attending AOL Charitable Foundation’s Summer Immersion Program, she wants to be a computer engineer because she believes she can achieve ANYTHING with that career.

Caitlin is a senior at Cornell University who, when she's not pursuing her degree in electrical and computer engineering, spends most of her time at school or in her pajamas in front of a computer. She can be found coding and #winning at hackathons around the city, exploring new restaurants, or curled in the fetal position reading a John Green novel. She is a true fangirl, and is not afraid to show it, whether it's by listening to MCR albums from ten years ago or liking all of her fave YouTubers' Instagram photos.
